Back to Work - September 26, 2008

I was back at work yesterday for the first time since Monday the 15th. It wasn't too hard to get back into it, really. I still feel like I'm getting enough sleep to function well during the day, and it also helped that most of the department was offsite at a conference on Thursday, so there weren't too many people around to distract me while I caught up.

The reason I was able to go back to work on Thursday was that Katie's parents came in for a few days to help out around the house and stay with her during the day. They've done a lot to help us out - ironing, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchen, laundry, and a bunch of other stuff too. It's too bad that this time doesn't last longer... it would be great to have people bringing us dinner and offering to come help out with chores all the time!

Sleeping has been going pretty well. We don't yet have Clark transitioned to sleeping in his crib in his own room. He's still sleeping in a Pack n' Play in our room. It's not really too bad, the only downside is that we hear every little grunt and noise he makes, so we're probably not sleeping as soundly as we might.

Not much in the way of new pictures today. Just one shot of Nana & Papa Joyner hanging out with the little dude.

More football this weekend, plus a visit from Nana Moore. Fun stuff!

Late update - we took Clark on his first outing (aside from visiting the pediatrician) tonight. We bopped over to Puerto Vallarta for some Mexican food for dinner, and brought the little buddy with us. Here we are posing before dinner (quesadilla a la diabla, yummmmmmm).
