Bew's Corner: Ohio Visit

Lots of pictures to share! In May we were able to spend two weeks in Newark staying with my parents while Jason worked/trained in Columbus area with a company that does software development for his company. We were unsure how the kids would hold up for two weeks away from home, as we hadn't traveled for more than a night with the girls, but it was a great trip! The girls really slept well, and Clark loves being at Nana and Papa's house. I was happy to take care of the kids there, where I had more help and company than I have on most days at home, and Jason really felt like he got a lot out of his time working there and really enjoyed what he was doing. All in all worked out great plus we got to spend a lot of time visiting with extended family and friends who had not had a chance to meet Alexis and Jenna.

While there we celebrated a slightly late Mother's Day. Here is a picture of me with my kids.

Here is Jason and I ready to go on our Mother's day date. We were headed to downtown Columbus to celebrate our brother-in-law Joe's 30th Birthday, so we decided to stay out and treat ourselves to dinner and get a hotel room so we could have out first night away from the kids since the twins came home from the hospital! This was my mother's day gift from Jason! :)

We also got to spend some time with our friends in Columbus. Sam and Adam had baby Sahalie on April 29th, and so we were able to see her while there. We also got to spend some time with Meghann, Brad and baby Will (b. Dec. 21st 2010), and Mike and Erica who are due with their first June 22nd!
