Winter Weekends - January 10, 2009

We have had a nice couple of weekends now that we are back in Indiana. Last Saturday we went to Tom and Sara's to help them with their kitchen project. Jason helped paint and I watched some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with the kids. Here is a picture of Josie with her cousin baby Clark. She liked to sit and put her arm around him. Too cute. After working on the kitchen and getting kids to bed we settled in to watch the Colts game. Clark had a rough night since he was still fighting a cold, so we headed home fairly early in the morning and had a lazy Sunday.

This week we have started two different bible studies, one is led by the pastor at our church on Wednesday nights. We took Clark to the nursery there this week and he was the only kid there, however even with two nursery workers, he screamed and cried inconsolably after about 45 minutes so I missed the second half of study trying to calm him down. The ladies that work the nursery were great though and they really want us to keep bringing him back to try to get him used to the new situation. We will see how that goes. Unfortunately the study starts right at 7, which is also Clark's usual bedtime, so that makes it a rough time for him.
On Thursday night we started a new marriage study with our small group. We took Clark with us to that as well, but since he stayed with mom and dad the whole time he didn't get nearly as fussy.
This weekend is getting pretty lazy, so far today we have stayed in our pajamas and played some various video games and read books. What a nice wintry, snowy day to hole up! Plus Clark let us sleep in until after 10:00! He was quite the sleeper this morning. Here are some cute pics we have taken this week.

Oh, I almost forgot to update on baby Elizabeth. She is doing really well, she is off all breathing assistance and has been able to spend several hours a day being held by mom and dad. Keep up the good work baby girl!
