Spring? - May 3rd, 2013

This is going to be a fairly long post catching up on most of our April pictures and what we have been up to!

The girls were fighting over who got the blue booster seat at each and every meal - it was getting so bad I finally decided it wasn't worth it, so now we are booster free. So far that is going pretty well - here is a shot of the kids all eating on the bench together!  The girls are also becoming such good little eaters, chowing down on everything from hummus to kale!

 We got some new outdoor toys from the Darling Doubles Twin consignment sale and got to get out side and put them to good use.

And then just when we were starting to have fun.... it snowed!

 

Clark's favorite restaurant is Chipotle.  He loves chips and guacamole!  He and I got to do a lunch date after he had his first soccer pictures taken.  Earlier in the day the whole family had been outside watching him play, he is really having a great time being on the team, and is actually pretty good!  He has scored several goals, but especially seems to love playing defense and gets almost as excited about blocking goals as he does scoring them.  What a great quality!

 

But then the weekend after that his game was canceled.. because it snowed!

 

Then Nana and Pe-Paw came to visit!

We had a lovely visit with them, Jason and I got to have some little dates, and we all got to go to the zoo.   The zoo with extra adult hands to help out was really fun, we went into the tropical discovery area which had lots of "fishys" and lots of snakes that Alexis and Jenna were sure were "seeping", those sleepy snakes!  And we all got to play outside again... until it snowed once more.

 Once it melted a little we went out to jump in the puddles all the melting snow left, you can still see some slush in the background, but it was beginning to feel like spring.

Last Saturday was beautiful again, so after soccer we did wagon rides...

 And bike rides...

This was Clark's first ride with his training wheels - he is loving riding up and down the sidewalk in our neighborhood!  Jason also got to go on a much longer bike ride this day and the next day he got to golf!

 

And then....

 

So that was the snow from May 1st, by now most of it has melted off and we are sincerely hoping that that was the end of that white stuff!
