Valentine's Day was pretty fun around here. This was Clark's first time getting to exchange with classmates at school, and the girls were old enough to make a few special Valentine crafts of their own. All the kids made Valentines for Mom and Dad and for each other, so I decided to have a Valentine's breakfast before Jason headed to work. The kids got heart shaped pancakes with red mini M&Ms on top and we all got to hand out our valentines we made for each other. Nana and Papa Joyner sent bags of stickers and doilies, which were a huge hit - in fact pancakes and bananas were totally ignored once we opened these, and the kids immediately went to work creating.
Nana and Pe-Paw Moore, sent cookies and $2.00 to each of the kids which was also a big hit. I took the kids to the dollar store to pick out new toys with their Valentine money the next day. Clark picked out Punch balloons and a new basket ball for his mini hoop, and the girls latched on to some foam play squishy cupcakes! Hope you all had a great day!
