Today I…
Have already forgotten most of what I did yesterday.
Got out of bed tired because I stayed up too late last night
reading Hunger Games in one sitting.
Drank coffee and checked Facebook while the babies took
bottles and Clark watched TV.
Felt a little guilty about the Facebooking, my 3 year olds
screen time, and that the girls still take bottles.
Cried when I read this A Mountain I’m Willing to Die On.
Got a shower.
Didn’t get to dry my hair.
Did four puzzles with Clark while the babies napped*.
*Listened to the twins talk to each other in their cribs for an hour.
Took all three kids to story time.
Held two squirmy whining babies through most of story time.
Struggled with being impatient when my son wanted to hold
the door for everyone entering the library within a three block radius.
Was sorely disappointed that the library didn’t have the
second book in the Hunger Games Series.
Let Clark pick out three new books and play on the compter.
Fed my children mac n cheese for lunch and justified its
health benefits because the box says it is organic.
Walked past the basket of clean laundry (from two days ago) at
the top of the stairs multiple times without putting it away.
Read Clark all three of his new library books.
Gave my babies bottles after nap again because the bottles
make them happy.
Got a delivery of 344 diapers and 90 pullups in a giant box.
Put my happy kids in the giant box.
Smelled all three of my baby’s heads a lot.
Had to give Clark a time out for trying to close the flaps
on the giant box on Jenna’s head.
Made him apologize to Jenna.
Used 5 cloth diapers and 7 disposable ones.
Read most of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s latest book
during nap time.
Pulled soup out of the freezer for dinner.
Sang to my girls with their father as we laid them in their beds.
Checked my e-mail/Facebook/reader on my phone entirely too
often.
Went grocery shopping by myself.
Played indoor soccer.
Had a pretty good day.
