Last month Jason was offered a new position with Ingersoll-Rand, that would move him along the career path that he is most interested in following, it was a fantastic offer and although it involved a relocation to the Denver, CO area, we were excited to accept it. It helps that we had been out to that area of the country several times to visit my brother Joey and his wife Amy. We thought it seemed like it would be a neat place to live if we ever got the opportunity and since Joey and Amy are there, we were excited to live near them as well.
Since deciding to take the job we have been involved in a swirl of relocation activity, much of which is assisted by Jason's company (Thank Goodness!) but we have still been very busy. Last week Jason spent out in Colorado visiting his new office and beginning our house hunt. Very early Thursday morning I joined him and we spent that day driving around seeing houses. Jason, with Joey, Amy and our Realtor's help had narrowed down our search to a few neighborhoods, but we still went through 8 houses! By the afternoon, Jason and I were in agreement on which one we wanted to make an offer on and had the house under contract by Friday morning! It was a crazy trip but we are excited about the house we found, the great neighborhood it is in, and the close proximity to Joey and Amy (less than 2 miles away!). Here are a few pics of the new place.

These two pictures are of our favorite room in the house, and what really attracted us to it - the giant great room.

So that is a small part of what we have been up to. Since we are working on getting our house in Indianapolis ready to sell, I haven't had access to our desktop computer to download pics of the kids. I imagine there is a way to do it, but I am not sure how. Be assured that they are all still extremely cute!
