Snow! - December 6th, 2010

It snowed in Indianapolis this weekend, so we decided to give Clark his first taste of playing outside in it. It took at least a half an hour, some crying and a lot of coaxing to convince him that he had to wear his coat, boots, hat and mittens to go play in the snow. He tried to tell us that he didn't want to go out at all to avoid putting all of that on, be we decided to make him anyway, since we thought he would like it once he got out there. With effort from both Jason and I we got all pieces of warm clothing on and headed outside, where the hat and mittens were immediately taken off. It only took about 30 seconds before Clark was saying "hands cold" and allowed us to put the mittens back on. The hat however was abandoned in favor of his hood.

Clark ended up really liking the snow, especially trying to hold snowballs that Jason made, since Clark's mittens rendered his hands pretty much useless, and stomping his boots in the snow to make tracks. His face was totally red and snot was freezing to his upper lip and he still threw a fit about coming back inside! He lasted a lot longer out there then Mom did!
