Too Funny - June 10, 2010

We've been pretty busy the last few weekends. We spent all of Memorial Day weekend hanging out with our neighbors - cooking out, playing wiffleball, drinking on the deck until 1am, and even playing golf! The warm weather gave us plenty of opportunities to break out what has become Clark's favorite summer toy - the inflatable hippo pool. In addition to splashing around in it, I found he can be entertained for quite a while by just spraying a hose at him. Easiest job I've found so far.


Last weekend we were in Newark for Barb's annual garage sale, so Clark got to see all of his Joyner cousins, and had a blast playing with everyone.


Despite bad weather that included a torrential downpour on Friday night and the subsequent river running through the yard down to the flooded street, the garage sale had another good showing.


Katie and I have been keeping ourselves busy with the usual - work, running the household, and teaching Clark tricks. He knows all of the letters except for 'R' now, and most of the numbers too. His fascination with letters is pretty amusing - calling them out everywhere he goes. He also learns stuff at the babysitter's that surprises us, like what we coax out of him at the end of this video.


Our friends Ryan and Jess are coming to visit with their daughter Aubrey this weekend, and then next weekend we'll be off celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary. Hopefully we'll remember to blog again soon!
