Dentist Visit - May 2014

The girls had their first dentist visit this month - it went great, they love Dr. Jarvis!

Jason has been very industrious lately and he made the girls these beds!  (He also made the letters that hang above them).  What a cool project and a talented dad!

Clark had his last day of Preschool.  It's hard to believe he will be off to Kindergarten in a few months.

Easter - April, 2014

Alexis and Jenna are pretty much dressed as princesses all the time now, and the Easter egg hunt was no exception.

On Easter morning the kids found their baskets.

Then we dressed pretty and went to church.

Nana and Pe-paw were visiting, so it was extra fun to celebrate with them.

Me and my girls.

After church we hunted eggs in the back yard.

I can't believe how big these kids are getting!

I haven't blogged in ages, because I wasn't sure how I could go on posting all the fun and happy things our family was doing, with out talking about the gigantic loss we suffered earlier this year. And I just haven't been able to post about it until now.  In March, Jason's dad Ken passed away far too early.  He will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and all the rest of his family.
This is one of my favorite memories of Ken, when he unexpectedly drove all the way to Indianapolis to meet Clark, his first grandchild.  He told us that he saw the pictures we posted and couldn't wait another day!

Here are a few pictures of part of the legacy he left behind - his grandchildren.  While it was tragic to come back to Ohio for the funeral, we were thankful for the time to see all of our family.

We were especially thankful for our time with this guy - Great Grandpa Robb (Ken's father), who just celebrated his 90th birthday!

February - February 28th, 2014

Denver made it to the Super bowl this year, and Clark was a big fan, to bad the game didn't go so well, but he sure looked cute rooting for them!

Jenna and Alexis.

I have been inspired to do more cooking with the kids involved, so I bought them plastic chefs knives.  Here they are cutting fruit and showing off their fruit kabobs.  They have also been helping me cut veggies for soups and pastas.

Since the girls are 3 now I decided it was finally time for their first haircut.  I did it myself, which actually didn't turn out to bad.  I cut Jenna's hair a couple inches shorter then Alexis' which has been helping some people to tell them apart, and makes it easier for me to yell at the right one when they are running away from me! :)

The girls loved having their hair blown dry with the hairdryer after their cut too.  Here is the finished product.
